Tech Rant

I came home today and started calling my cat. After 5 minutes he didnt come and I wondered why. Then I walked into the kitchen and remembered: Otis died on sunday. "-.- Reality sucks, man. But I digress. Its been awhile since I blogged last....day by day the world sinks deeper into social networking. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Sadly, I think I'm one of those people. I am constantly on FB, though I dont have a myspace and rarely Tweet. Its getting so bad that people have a hard time socializing in the REAL WORLD. Its become a nightmare. Some people are like: "NOT SOCIALIZING WITH REAL PEOPLE! Its too personal and awkward! God ppl come out of your shells! Go live a REAL life instead of a virtual one. Ok yeah I'm a hypocrite. But I'm trying...so you should too.

Even worse, we have become so relient on technology. Take my school for example. You can't even turn around without seeing a computer/laptop, ipod, cell phone etc. What are we ever going to do if those things stop working or god forbid, turn on us? Ok yeah maybe I've seen a little too much sci fi. But its still a concern. Especially with the devlopment of robots. How much longer before they replace humans? But again, I digress. Our lives are being taken over by tech! AHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOO! Lets rebel! Shut off the comp once and awhile and grab a book.
Speaking of which I should log off and finish Maximum Ride: a Final Warning.

As u may kno, i was recently banned contact from my friend in canada (lets call him Nix). The other day i emailed him, (knowing his dad would read the email) asking 4 his dads 4giveness.

here is the email:

I know u banned me from contacting your son. But technically i am contacting u. I feel quite sorry about what happened. Its been on my conscience. Please understand that my objective isn't to hurt Nix in any way. I wasn't thinking when i told him i was gonna commit suicide. I cried 4 days afterwards. I accept responsibility, but please understand that i never actually told Nix 2 cut. That wasn't the purpose of me telling him. I wanted 2 let off steam and stuff. But now i am telling other ppl that stuff. Like my mom and my therepist. And not people on the internet. I've learned that lesson. I would like another chance. I know that you don't think that i deserve it, but I promise you that I won't do stuff like that again. But hey, i totally understand if you dont give me another chance. I mean i probaly wrecked your family's lives. Unintentional or not, it still happened. I would like to thank you for calling the cops. I did need that. And now I am doing better. I wouldnt mind if u waited a month or 2 to let me talk 2 Nix. Or even more. Just to make sure I am totally stable. But I am ready to wait. No matter how long. That MUST tell u how I feel about Nix. He probaly feels the same way. Ask him. Well, anyway. I am very sincerly sorry, and would like 2 kno if I am forgiven. At least so i can sleep at night.
